Julie Steininger

Senior Vice President & Partner

Julie is a senior vice president at Standing Partnership. She leads the firm’s agriculture and nutrition work as well as making sure everything at standing Partnership is running smoothly by overseeing the firm’s operations.

Since joining the firm almost two decades ago, she has helped many clients give their stakeholders the information they need at the right time. As a strong advocate for stakeholder engagement, Julie helps clients make the connection between a positive reputation and stakeholder trust. She encourages her clients to listen to and understand the expectations of those impacted by their decisions and actions.

She’s also created crisis plans and executed crisis drills for a variety of organizations from a regional bank in Missouri to a regional airport in Virginia. She has deep expertise in managing long-term crisis issues in both the healthcare and agriculture industries.

Her nearly two decades of experience in strategic planning, public affairs, and issues and crisis management makes her an absolute asset to her clients. They trust her to help their goals through effective messaging, stakeholder relations, coalition building, issues monitoring, and crisis planning and training.

When Julie isn’t at work, she can be found at the Missouri Botanical Garden where she’s been a member of the Corporate Council since 2013. She is also a member of the St. Louis Agribusiness Club, a graduate of Coro’s Women in Leadership program, and has served on the board of the Coro Women in Leadership Alumni Association.
