Standing Partnership Named a Top 50 Inspiring Workplace in North America

The firm is recognized for its culture and purpose, leadership, well being, inclusion & diversity, communication, and employee experience

The Inspiring Workplaces Group announced its Top 50 Inspiring Workplaces list in North America at an awards ceremony in Chicago. Standing Partnership, a marketing consultancy based in St. Louis, MO, ranked 27th among the top 50 finalists and fifth among small businesses.

The Inspiring Workplaces Awards 2023 asked each organization to submit its entry around six key elements fundamental to creating an Inspiring Workplace:

  • Culture and Purpose
  • Leadership
  • Well Being
  • Inclusion & Diversity
  • Communication
  • Employee Experience

Founded in 1991, Standing Partnership is a certified women-owned B2B marketing consultancy serving clients in complex, highly regulated industries including technology, manufacturing, agriculture and professional services. The company owes its success to its culture as well as a scalable and sustainable growth strategy that has yielded more than 20% year-after-year growth since 2020. Standing’s culture can be characterized as a fast-paced environment where ambitious people thrive thanks to genuine collaboration, support, and recognition that enables their continued growth.

“We’re proud and humbled to be in the company of these amazing organizations,” said Melissa Lackey, President and CEO, Standing Partnership. “It’s exciting to be recognized for creating a culture and environment that team members not only opt into but want to stay and grow their careers. Our employee retention track record (many are 10 plus years) and “boomerang” employees who chose to come back to Standing after working elsewhere speak for themselves. These are the most impactful proof points.”

The Top 50 was decided by an independent expert judging panel. Matt Manners, Founder, The Inspiring Workplaces Group commented, “Congratulations to The Top 50 Inspiring Workplaces throughout North America. The calibre of submissions this year has seen the bar raised considerably. The strongest that we have ever seen. This shows that business leaders really are putting their people first and reaping the rewards this deserves. It also shows that positive, meaningful change is being delivered throughout the world of work.”

VP Nick Sargent, Partner & CEO Melissa Lackey and Partner & COO Julie Steininger accept Standing Partnership’s Top 50 Inspiring Workplace Award on June 7, 2023 in Chicago.
