Besides being a firm leader, Julie has helped many clients make the connection between a positive reputation and stakeholder trust. She encourages her clients to listen to and understand the expectations of those impacted by their decisions and actions.

Julie joined Dix & Eaton in 2023 when she and her co-owner, Melissa Lackey, sold Standing Partnership to Dix & Eaton. Julie currently serves as Executive Vice President of the Standing Operating Group within Dix & Eaton but will move into an enterprise-level position as Chief People Officer of Dix & Eaton on July 1, 2025. In addition to providing senior counsel to clients, Julie has held a wide range of talent management responsibilities that include recruiting and retaining high-performing team members. Since joining Standing Partnership more than 25 years ago, Julie has helped many clients make the connection between a positive reputation and stakeholder trust through her experience in strategic planning, thought leadership, and issues and crisis management.

Julie is a long-time supporter of the Missouri Botanical Garden, where she was a member of its Corporate Council for more than a decade. She is a member of the Issues Management Council, Women in Agriculture and the St. Louis Agribusiness Club. Julie is a graduate of Coro’s Women in Leadership program and has served on the board of the Coro Women in Leadership Alumni Association.

Julie has a master of liberal arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a bachelor of arts degree in English Language and Literature with a minor in business from Drake University.
